It was held on the theme: "Achieving Success Through Consistent Learning to Effect Positive Global Change."  It honoured pupils graduating from Kindergarten Two to Basic One, from Basic Six to Junior High School (JHS) Form One, as well as JHS pupils who sat for the recent Basic Education Certification Examinations (BECE).

The day, which was also the 13th anniversary of the school, was a joyous occasion for families, pupils and the entire school community. Serving as guest speaker was the Head of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in Ghana, Mr Edmond Moukala.

In his address, he emphasised the critical role of education in addressing global challenges and encouraged the students to remain committed to their learning journeys.

"Education unlocks human potential and drives sustainable development. Your dedication to learning will not only shape your future but contribute to solving some of the world's most pressing problems," he said.

Mr Moukala stressed that lifelong learning equips individuals with the skills, insights and empathy needed to tackle various challenges effectively.

He reminded the graduands that their journeys had just begun and that their future success would rely on their self-discipline, adherence to guidance from parents and teachers and, above all, the grace of God.

"Embrace the power of consistent studying as a pathway to personal fulfilment and collective progress. Let us invest in education as the cornerstone for a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable world," he urged.

The Chief Executive Officer of the school, Mrs Cecilia Hughes Osafo, commended her pupils, saying: “We are confident that you will emulate the success of your predecessors and achieve remarkable feats”.

“As we celebrate our graduands, we reflect on our efforts in nurturing their growth and empowering them to become the thoughtful pupils they are today. We honour both their achievements and the remarkable individuals they have become,” she noted.

She commended them for not being lazy, but rather upholding the school’s mantra of excellence. As the school continues to expand, the CEO noted that major upgrades were underway for the Science and Computer laboratories and the library.

“These improvements mark significant milestones for the school, which has also recently introduced a boarding facility for its pupils,” she added. With a partnership from the Dana Health Centre, the school provides resources for medical care for its staff and pupils beyond the services provided by their on-site school nurse.

The CEO expressed her gratitude to the planning committee for their efforts in organising this year's ceremony. Speaking to her classmates and fellow graduands, the valedictorian, Kelsie Owusu-Afriyie, thanked everyone for their support.

“We have all grown and learned over the years and I encourage all of us to never give up, follow our dreams and also put God first,” she advised. A special award was given to Nana Kweku Nsenkyirene Asare-Ampah for the Best Report written about an excursion to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum.

Nana Kweku Kankam Twumasi and Lyana Nana Adjoa Quainoo received the Cecilia Hughes Osafo Award for the Most Promising Male and Female Learners (Basic 6 graduating class) respectively.

Awards were given to the Best Pupil in each class, from Nursery to Junior High; Most Punctual, Most Disciplined Learner and the Neatest Pupil.
