Ms Sah secured 37 votes, defeating her main challenger, Ms Tamara Asomani-Wiafe, who garnered 26 votes. In addition to Ms Sah, other executives were also elected: Vice President, Rosemond Boafo; Secretary, Regina Bentil; Assistant Secretary, Stella Sefah Appiah; Treasurer, Bernice Safoah Tagoe; Financial Secretary, Patience Amuzu; Organiser, Emma Aba Amissah; Porter, Deborah Duncan; and Sports Coordinator, Mavis Aryee.

Ms Sah’s election marks a pivotal moment for the Power Queens Club, as she brings a strong commitment to fostering growth, empowering women, and promoting solidarity within the organisation.

With extensive experience at ECG and a passion for women’s empowerment, Ms. Sah is well-positioned to lead the Power Queens Club to new heights. She plans to enhance organisational communication, develop mentorship opportunities, and build strategic partnerships to benefit the club and its members.

Vision for the future
In her acceptance speech, Ms. Sah expressed her profound gratitude to the delegates and ECG staff for their trust and support. "I am deeply honoured by your confidence and excited for the journey ahead. Together, we will build a stronger, more empowered club that embodies the Power Queens' strength and unity," she said.

First 100 days agenda
As she steps into her new role, Ms. Sah has set clear priorities for her first 100 days, including improving communication channels, launching new empowerment initiatives, and raising the visibility of the club’s projects. Her vision is to create an environment where members feel valued, supported, and proud of their contributions.

Under her leadership, the future looks bright for the Power Queens Club, as Sitsofe Sah brings purpose, passion, and a forward-thinking agenda to her role as National President.

In her address, the outgoing National President, Doreen-Carol Anning-Gyebi, urged the new leadership team to prioritise unity, love, and progress.
