
Dr Amoah calls for educational reforms
The Chief Executive Officer of Progeny Ventures International, Dr Kofi Amoah, says the country’s educational system should be reformed and tilted towards the self-interest rather than the interest of others.
He said the system should be built on a fundamental psychology of “Can-do-for-self, looking around us to appreciate and understand the natural materials in our ecosystem. Our scientists and technologists must research into our materials and identify their beneficial uses so that the local industry can adopt these in their production and manufacturing operations.”

“Some of such activities have started, but we need the support of government policy and funding to help push and accelerate them,” he said at the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Assin Manso Senior High School in the Central Region.
