Adansi Rural Bank supports Teachers Awards
The Adansi Rural Bank Limited at Fomena in the Adansi North District in the Ashanti Region has donated six 32 inch LED Flat-screen colour television sets and six table top refrigerators valued at GH¢10,000 to six education directorates towards the upcoming Teachers’ Awards.

The beneficiaries are Adansi North, Adansi South, Bosomtwe, Atwima Kwanwoma, Obuasi Municipal and the Kumasi Metropolitan Education directorates.
The Board Chairman of the bank, Alhaji Ahmed Kwame Boakye, who presented the items to the representatives of the beneficiary education directorates, reiterated the bank’s commitment to support education within its catchment area.
He urged the various directorates to position themselves well and always be prepared to formulate good policies that would attract the board to always have the urge to support their activities.
He assured them that the gesture would not be a nine-day wonder so they should keep up the good work and do all they could to improve upon education in their various districts.
The beneficiaries thanked the board and management of the bank for the initiative to assist the growth of education in the districts.
Development projects
Meanwhile, the bank has built a six seater place of convenience at a cost of GH¢34,000 and handed it over to the Dompoase Demonstration Primary School at a short ceremony at Fomena in the Ashanti Region.
Mr Boakye, who inaugurated and handed over the facility to the school, said the bank was committed to supporting development projects in its catchment areas.
