The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II cast his ballot at the Manhyia Stool administration polling station at about 11:30am.
He was accompanied by his wife, Lady Julia who also cast her vote at the same polling station located within the Manhyia South constituency.
At the polling station was the Ashanti Regional Director of Electoral Commission, Mr Serebour Quaicoo and the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye.
