BlueCrest College to train 2000 SHS students in Entrepreneurship
The Rector of BlueCrest College, an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) institution, Prof. S.K.Roy says the institution will be training 2000 students and 300 staffs of some selected Senior High School across the nation on STEM & Entrepreneurship free of charge by the end of April.
It will also advocate Robotics in the young minds and nurture them to learn Mathematics which acts as a Foundation for learning Robotics.
BlueCrest College will also be rolling out free certified workshops in Fashion & Design, Tv & Radio Presentation Skills for Arts and Home Economics Students.

He made this known during one of the many workshop held for the public as part of the institution’s Corporate Social Responsibility to promote STEM & Entrepreneurship education in Ghana.
He also added BlueCrest College is also keen in promoting Entrepreneurship or Skill based training among youths which will empower them to start their own ventures and make them self-sustainable.
The institution had earlier in February conducted training in Robotic Engineering, Project Management, TV & Radio Presentation and Stencil printing workshop for Corporate, Vocational Institutes and General Public respectively.
The workshop was first organised for the staffs of National Vocational Training Institute of Ghana on Project Management, Association.
Addressing the participants, General Manager of NVTI, Mr. Maxwell Kofi Zanu, who underscored the importance of offering projects management to the young artisans, said workshops or courses like the one organised by BlueCrest College will add value to its staff and also will enhance their career growth.
Furthermore, under the partnership with Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation, BlueCrest College organised a free workshop on Robotics Engineering to the citizens who are interested to learn Robotics.

The workshop attracted more than 100 participants from academia and industry with a founding Member of Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation (GRAF) and country Director of the Foundation’s Robotics inspired Science Education (RiSE) program, Dr. Yaw Okraku- Yirenkyi being the guest of honour.
BlueCrest College with university campuses in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Ghana boasts of an excellent track record in ICT training has students from 25 African states pursing respective degree programs in Business, Fashion, and ICT and Journalism programmers.
