COVID-19: Empowerment Worship Center donates PPEs to Ridge Hospital
The Empowerment Worship Centre Church (EWC) in Achimota, Accra has donated a consignment of Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital [Ridge Hospital] in support of the fight against the deadly disease, Coronavirus [COVID-19] that has become a pandemic.
The PPEs donated include nose masks, examination gloves, protective clothes, hand sanitizers among others.
The presentation which was made on behalf of the lead Pastor of the Church, Pastor Gideon Danso is to aid frontline health personnel in the hospital to effectively combat COVID-19.

Pastor Paul Lartey, a campus pastor of the church at West Hills in handing over the items to the hospital said the gesture was part of an effort to provide adequate support in dealing with the situation at hand to help accelerate the fight against the coronavirus.
The Medical Director of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Dr Emmanuel Srofenyoh who received the items was grateful to church for the generous donation and entreated other religious organizations to emulate the gesture.
He further urged Ghanaians to adhere to all precautionary measures recommended by health authorities to help keep themselves safe as well as their loved ones.
