A domestic fire at a residential property in Tamale in the Northern Region on Wednesday destroyed the house.
The property, which happens to be the family house of the late Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, was destroyed by fire, displacing occupants.
The incident occurred around about 4 p.m on Wednesday at the Changli, a suburb of Tamale.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service who responded to the distress call managed to control the fire from spreading to nearby houses.
