Confusion at launch of Cape Coast Fetu Afahye

There was confusion at a ceremony to launch this year's Fetu Afahye in Cape Coast Friday morning as a group of community members attempted to disrupt the ceremony.

Some community members stormed the festival launching ceremony which had the Omanhen, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II and the Central Regional Minister, Mr Kwamena Duncan in attendance.

According to Graphic Online's Central Regional correspondent, Timothy Gobah, armed policemen were called to restore order.

Despite the police presence, things were getting out of hand.
