Ga Mantse commends RNAQ for commitment to community, cultural values
The President of RNAQ Holdings and Foundation, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has visited the various Ga Traditional Councils, where he engaged chiefs on issues of development and sought their guidance.
The tour covered the Sempe, Asere, Gbese, Abola, Akamanjen, and Otublohum traditional councils.
As part of the visits, Mr Quaye made donations to each council to support them in this year’s Homowo celebrations.
The packages included bags of water, cartons of assorted drinks, a goat, and a cash contribution of GH¢50,000.
A similar presentation, with a cash donation of GH¢100,000 was made to the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.
Interacting with the various councils, Mr Quaye updated them on two recent initiatives — the Food Bank project in the Greater Accra Region, aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, and the Stop Means Red Campaign, a collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment to combat drug abuse among the youth.
Ga Mantse
The courtesy tour concluded at the Ga Mantse’s Palace, where Mr Quaye expressed his gratitude to King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II for his leadership and for the warm reception he had received throughout the tour.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that contributed to the progress of the Ga State and pledged to work closely with stakeholders to address pressing community needs.
“As a son of the Ga land, walking into each palace felt like coming home.
These visits reminded me of the values, discipline, and sense of community that shaped me, and I am committed to playing my part in ensuring they continue to guide future generations,” he said.
He added that the initiative reinforced his belief in the power of tradition, unity, and shared purpose to inspire meaningful progress for generations to come.
Shining example
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, welcoming Mr Quaye to his palace, described him as a shining example of commitment to community and cultural values.
He commended him for setting an example of how individuals can meaningfully engage with their traditional leaders while contributing to social progress.
He praised the consistency of Mr Quaye’s support over the years and the tangible impact of his recent initiatives, such as the Food Bank and the StopRed Campaign.
“The Ga State is proud of you,” the King affirmed, adding that such acts of commitment should inspire others to also contribute to the welfare of the Ga State.
