Sitsofe Sah elected president, Power Queens Club
A former treasurer of the Power Queens Club, Sitsofe Sah, has been elected president of the organisation, which is made up of female workers of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
The election took place last Friday during the club's 10th National Quadrennial Congress in Takoradi in the Western Region.

Ms Sah secured 37 votes, defeating her main challenger, Tamara Asomani-Wiafe, who garnered 26 votes.
Others elected
Alongside Ms Sah, other executives were elected.
They are the Vice-President, Rosemond Boafo; Secretary, Regina Bentil; Assistant Secretary, Stella Sefah Appiah; Treasurer, Bernice Safoah Tagoe; Financial Secretary, Patience Amuzu; Organiser, Emma Aba Amissah; Porter, Deborah Duncan and Sports Coordinator, Mavis Aryee.
