COVID-19: Ghana records its first Coronavirus recovery
The first recovery of COVID-19 (coronavirus) patient in Ghana has been recorded.
The recovery was announced by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Thursday (March 26, 2020).
The Service in an update said 49 others are responding to treatment while one other is in critical condition.

There have also been three deaths from the Coronavirus in Ghana since the second week of March when the first case was recorded.
The update was from only 54 cases (out of a total of 132 cases of Coronavirus) which were detected from a routine surveillance from the Ghana Health Service.
Ghana's situation in Mandatory quarantine
Of the 78 cases which were detected from a total of 1,030 persons who are under mandatory quarantine, the GHS says 78 of them are responding to treatment.
