GNASBA appreciates support of Fan milk, others

Ghana National Scholarship Beneficiaries Association (GNASBA) has expressed its appreciation to Fan Milk Limited, the Ghana Education Service  (GES) and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) for their support and participation in the  association’s schools and communities sanitation education campaigns in the past year.

In a statement signed by Baffour Akwasi Oppong, the National Chairman of GNASBA in Accra, the association said Fan Milk deserved outstanding commendation for their 21 years of continuous participation, support and provision of funds, donation of litter bins to selected schools, distribution of fan milk branded footballs, products and other environmental materials in support of its activities countrywide.

According to the atatement, the associations selected to undertake countrywide school health and agricultural programmes to help sensitise the youth to issues on the effects and benefits of keeping a clean environment. 

“We are most grateful that the National Sanitation Campaign has been launched to help intesify our efforts at ensuring a clean environment for the well being of the people of the country”

It said over the past 21 years, the association had promoted the planting of trees on various school compounds in all the ten regions of the country in collaboration with the GES and with the support of Fan Milk, the Forestry Commission and mining companies.

The association extended felicitations of the season to the management of Fan Milk, Chief Executive of MMDAs, GES Directors and students an staff of schools that participated in the association’s programmes as well as to “all supportive Mining Companies” and expressed the hope that with their support, the association can make meaningful contriburions to sustain cleanliness and grow more trees in various communities to provide good health for the people countrywide.
