GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board (Goldbod), has unveiled celebrated media personality Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, and award-winning actress Joselyn Dumas as its new brand ambassadors.
The announcement, made at the company’s head office in Accra on Tuesday, marks a strategic move to promote Ghana’s rich gold heritage and showcase the nation’s craftsmanship in producing world-class jewellery.
The Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod Jewellery, Mr Sammy Gyamfi, in a statement, said the appointment of the two public figures is intended to elevate the brand’s visibility while reinforcing its commitment to authenticity, ethical sourcing, and local value addition to Ghana’s gold resources.
“Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas represent excellence and authenticity — the very values that define the GoldBod Jewellery brand,” Mr Gyamfi stated. “Their appointment as brand ambassadors of GoldBod Jewellery marks a major milestone in GoldBod’s mission to promote local value addition to the country’s gold resources.”
He added that the collaboration aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision of positioning Ghana as a leading hub for authentic gold jewellery and ornaments in Africa.
As part of their ambassadorial roles, Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas will lead promotional campaigns, media engagements, and public outreach initiatives to spotlight GoldBod’s growing collection of fine gold and diamond jewellery, bespoke ornaments, and luxury accessories.
The two ambassadors are expected to leverage their influence across media and entertainment platforms to project the artistry and value of Ghana’s gold industry to both local and international audiences.
The partnership is seen as a significant step in strengthening the country’s jewellery sector, encouraging investment, and promoting the “Made in Ghana” brand as a symbol of quality and elegance in global markets.
