Graphic and Accra Brewery walk for fitness

The Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) in collaboration with the Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) Saturday organised a health walk to help promote physical fitness of their staff.

The walk was also participated by some residents of Adabraka, where the two companies are located. 

The event which took place on Saturday, September 21, this year, was intended to create awareness on the importance of staying active as well as the need to do away with excess calories in the body.

The walk was led by the Assemblyman of Adabraka, Alhaji Mohammed Norgah.

The event took off at 6:50 a.m from the Adabraka Stool Office through Roxy Cinema, Old Farisco, TUC traffic light, Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, Ridge roundabout, the Ring road and ended at the Old Obra Sport at about 10a.m. The participants were also taken through aerobics. 

The Legal and Corporate Affairs Director of the Accra Brewery Limited, Adwoa Aba, who spoke at the event urged the participants to be pay attention to the types of food they consumed, explaining many foods contain a lot of calories. 

She encouraged the staff of the two companies to do more of exercise in other to keep fit.
