A young man was Wednesday burnt to death at Petroleum down, a suburb of Dansoman in Accra for allegedly attempting to steal someone’s wallet, it has been reported.

Quoting eye witnesses, Accra-based Citi FM said the victim was one of two men who attempted stealing from a man’s residence as he was having his bath.
According to the report, the man raised an alarm when he came out of his bathhouse and saw the two in his parlor.
The alarm is said to have attracted neighbours who sprang into action and lynched the victim before setting him on fire. His alleged accomplice is said to have escaped.
The man’s corpse has reportedly been taken to the mortuary.
