Kennedy Agyapong on religion: Atheists are fools, church services are a waste of time
Ghanaian legislator Kennedy Agyapong has branded persons who lack belief in the existence of God as fools although he also insists spending time at church services fellowshipping with others is a waste of time.
"No, waste of time (church services). I believe in God, I don't want you to teach me who God is," the Assin Central Member of Parliament said in an interview with Joy News.
He added: "Anybody who says there is no God, to me, he is a fool. Because even when you sleep, your sleep alone should tell you that there is a superior being somewhere".

War on fake pastors
Mr Agyapong said he is currently on a personal mission to expose the activities of some fake pastors in Ghana.
He explained that his mission was not targetted at a specific pastor or church.
On how he sources information
Mr Agyapong admitted that he receives information from persons who have lost confidence in the Ghanaian system.
He, however, stressed that he does not pay his deepthroat sources for the information they provide him.
He said any demand for money in exchange for information are swiftly declined although he gifts his sources financial rewards.
He said: "Why they bring the information is that, they don't have confidence in the system. They have confidence in me... I don't give money, I can dash you money but anybody who says he has information I have to bring monet, go to hell. I wont buy any information from anybody".
