Kumasi Children’s Home gets support

Great Wall Chinese Clinic, a Chinese clinic based in Ghana, has presented a number of food items and medications valued at GH¢4,000 to support livelihood at the Kumasi Children’s Home.

The items are four bags of rice, three boxes of Genseng Blood Tonic, 10 boxes of bottled water, four packs of toilet roll and pain killers.

Co-Directors of the Clinic, Dr Huq Qing and Dr Zhao Yang, who led in the presentation of the items, said it was important that the organisation joined the benevolent in society to support the home.

They said having acknowledged the needs of deprived and abandoned children, mostly orphans, it was pertinent to help improve their living conditions, especially when they had been nurtured at an orphanage.

They, therefore, called on the Chinese community in the country, particularly those in Kumasi, to emulate their example.
