The Lordina Foundation organised its quarterly and 5th edition of free medical screening and treatment, for retired pastors, spouses, and pastors’ widows of Assemblies of God in Accra on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Present at the event was the Founder/President of the Lordina Foundation, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, a staunch member of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
Also in attendance was the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam.
Mrs. Mahama welcomed her special guests, the First Lady of Liberia, Mrs. Kartumu Boakai; former First Lady of South Africa, Mrs. Tobeka Madiba-Zuma; and Ghana’s Ambassador to Spain, Kalsoume Sinare.
Beneficiaries were screened, given medication, and provided with medical supplies to last four months.
Additionally, the First Lady of Ghana presented each beneficiary with a Christmas hamper.
In a brief address, the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam, commended the first couple and the Lordina Foundation for the act of magnanimity, describing medical treatment for retirees as a huge financial burden. He noted that this quarterly medical intervention was a great relief to both beneficiaries and the church.
The Board Chairman of the Lordina Foundation, Pastor Boateng Sarpong, reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to caring for the vulnerable in the society.
