The deceased, Isaac Kwesi Darko, was said to have been contracted to build a bill board for a pharmaceutical company.

The Legon District Police Crime Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mrs Favour Fleischer-Ackon, told the Daily Graphic yesterday that at about 12 noon on May 25, 2015, the police had information that a man had been electrocuted at a construction sight of the Legon Mall.

She said investigations established that Darko was working with another person whose identity was being withheld.

While the two were mounting the bill board, she said Darko, who was using a metal ladder, “ accidentally touched the high tension cable and he was electrocuted.”

She said the body of the deceased had since been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra for autopsy.
