Ghanaian allied health professionals asked to apply for Barbados jobs by Oct 30, 2025

The Ministry of Health has opened applications for Ghanaian allied health professionals to take up employment opportunities in Barbados.

Interested applicants have until Thursday, October 30, 2025, to submit their applications, according to a career notice issued by the Ministry.

The recruitment exercise, a partnership between the governments of Ghana and Barbados, is offering nine specialised positions described as challenging yet professionally rewarding roles in the Caribbean nation.

The available positions include cardiac sonographer, physicist I/II, audiologist, diagnostic radiographer, sonographer, occupational therapist, respiratory therapist, and speech therapist or speech and language pathologist.

According to the Ministry, applicants must meet the regulatory requirements of the Allied Health Professions Council and have at least five years of professional experience in their respective fields.

The application process, which opened on Monday, October 27, 2025, requires candidates to apply through the Ministry’s recruitment portal at https://hr.moh.gov.gh  or by email at mohhrhd@moh.gov.gh .

Applicants are required to submit original or two photocopies of academic certificates, a certificate of good standing from the Allied Health Professions Council, current and previous appointment letters, and a recent police clearance certificate covering the last six months.

Other required documents include immunisation certificates, a birth certificate, two copies of an updated curriculum vitae, two reference letters dated within the past six months, a recent endorsed passport-size photograph with a white background, and the biodata page of a valid passport with at least two years’ validity.

The Ministry cautioned that incomplete or unsuitable applications will not be acknowledged.

Candidates must also present certified copies of their qualifications and professional registration documents on the day of their interview.

According to the Ministry, the recruitment initiative provides Ghanaian health professionals with the opportunity to gain international experience while contributing to healthcare delivery in Barbados.

Applications will close on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
