Nana Addo leads
As predicted by political analysts, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has taken a commanding lead in the the New Patriotic Party’s flag bearer race from results declared so far.

In all the 273 constituency results received as of 6:30 p.m, Nana Akufo-Addo’s figures were miles apart from those of his contenders Mr Alan Kyerematen and Mr Francis Addai-Nimoh.
While Nana Akufo-Addo was swimming in the hundreds, Mr Kyerematen and Mr Addai-Nimoh were recording tens and single digits respectively.
In some instances, the two contenders even recorded zero with Addai-Nimoh being the highest casualty.
The highest result in favour of Nana Akufo-Addo was from the Odododiodio Constituency in the Greater Accra Region where he recorded 757 votes as against 20 for Mr Kyerematen and 11 for Mr Addae-Nimoh.
