Peristrofi International honours 11 dignitaries

The others were Mr Amarkai Amatefio, a former Minister for Youth and Sports; Very Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Kormla Gbordzoe, a former Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church; Dr. Opata Sarzra, Founder and Chairman of the University College of Management Studies; Mr Jonathan T. Obeng, Director of Royal Consult; Prof Dr R. R. Gonzevoort; and Rev. Dr. Kojo Osei- Wusuh, President of Ghana Baptist University College.

Apart from providing them with two certificates each as part of the honour, each of them was also presented with an academic gown and cap that characterised their new status.

They were also charged to continue serving their respective communities, the nation and the international community in diverse ways  as a way of leaving  a lasting legacy that would be emulated by the present and future generations.

The Peristrofi World Honorary International Award  instituted in March 2008 by the Vice Chancellor of  Peristrofi Masters Theology International, Dr Divine Gabriel Brefo, is  considered as one of the world’s renowned awards bestowed on results oriented and hard-working personalities for their contributions to sustainable socio-economic development in their fields of discipline .

It had previously been organized in Ghana, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands during which prominent personalities who had excelled in academics, Law, Music, Theology, Journalism, Politics, Entrepreneurship and Business among other professions, were selected and recognized.

In his address, the Vice Chancellor of Peristrofi Masters Theology International, Dr. Devine Brefo, commended the award winners for excelling in their various fields of endeavour.

The Vice Chancellor of the KNUST, Prof, William Otoo-Ellis, said the honour bestowed on the dignitaries was an affirmation that they had paid their respective dues to society.
