The suspect, who identified himself as "Commander Kanawu Revolution Leader," is seen in the video threatening to shoot and harm key figures, including the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare, and the Interior Minister, Henry Quartey.

The police have offered a reward of GH₵50,000 for any credible information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

In the video, the man accuses the IGP and the Interior Minister of orchestrating false recruitment of persons in the Ashanti Region into the police force to manipulate the upcoming elections.

He also issued threats against the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, and other officials, declaring 2024 as a year of violence, using the phrase "All Die be Die."

The police have urged the public to come forward with any relevant information to aid in the suspect’s capture, ensuring that those responsible for such threats are held accountable.

On Wednesday night, the police announced that he has been arrested.
