So far, five individuals have been arrested following clashes between protesters and law enforcement at the 37 Intersection during the demonstration on September 22, 2024.
According to a police statement released on September 22, officers were compelled to "use all lawful means" to manage the situation after some demonstrators attempted to block parts of the road with vehicles and dismantle police barriers, leading to confrontations.
Some protesters were taken into custody, while others managed to flee.
The ongoing protest is part of a three-day demonstration organized by the Democracy Hub to address concerns about economic mismanagement and other national issues.
On the first day, demonstrators caused disruptions at the 37 Roundabout, prompting police intervention.
During the second day, Oliver Barker-Vormawor was seen removing the key from a police towing truck and throwing it away.

The truck had been brought in by the police to tow a vehicle the protesters had used to block the main road. In an attempt to maintain order, police officers sought to clear the road, but the convenor sneaked into the running vehicle, switched off the engine, removed the key, and tossed it aside.
