Police bus involved in accident at Ako Adjei; 3 injured
About three people including national security personnel and police officers Thursday morning sustained various degree of injuries when the bus on which they were traveling was involved in an accident.
The accident occurred on the Ako Adjei Interchange at about 8:30 am.
A total of about 15 people were said to be on the bus at the time of the accident.
According to an eyewitness, Edward Harry Armah, he saw three injured persons
He said a cargo truck coming from the Canadian High Commission side on the Liberation Road ran into the bus which was heading towards Osu.
He said, the driver of the bus lost control but managed to prevent it from falling over the rails onto the main Osu stretch of the interchange.
The injured, said to be part of the security detail at the Presidency are receiving treatment at the Police Hospital in Accra.
