President Mahama to address national May Day parade

President John Dramani Mahama will be the Guest of Honour at the 2015 National May Day Parade to be held at the Independence Square in Accra on Friday, May 1.

A statement issued Thursday by Organised Labour and signed by Dr Yaw Baah, Deputy Secretary General of the Trades Union Congress, said the 2015 Workers Day of Solidarity will be marked on the theme: “Addressing the Energy Challenges, the Role of Organised Labour”.

All workers under the auspices of Organised Labour, are expected to participate in the celebrations while workers participating in the National May Day Parade in Accra will be expected to be seated by 830am.

Regional parades will also be held in all 10 regions across the country.
