According to him, Ghana could only remain peaceful if all political parties embraced peace and see their political opponents as potential partners in development.

He said this when the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Groupe Ideal, Mr Charles Arku, and the Groupe Ideal team presented assorted food items to the National Chief Imam for the Ramadan period.

The Chief Imam thanked Groupe Ideal for the kind gesture, especially coming during the fasting period, and prayed for the company's success.

Groupe Ideal

Mr Arku said Groupe Ideal acknowledged the importance of the period of Ramadan in Islam, thus the need for the donation.

Mr Arku further noted that Groupe Ideal, with over 10 subsidiaries, had contributed  to the development of trade in the country with Ideal Finance, Firstrust Savings and Loans, Ideal Capital Partners, Ideal Trade and Westfield Offshore Consult.

The rest include Ideal Asset Solution, Ideal Insurance brokers, Ideal financial holdings and Ideal Pension Trust, making their customers very ideal in business.

He also noted that Groupe Ideal had a vision to be the most successful business in every sector they operate.

" As we pray and fast for the nation, we wish that all our brothers and sisters in the various political parties will support us during the period and also pray for success for the country before, during and after the 2016 general election," he stated.

Mr Arku expressed appreciation to the Muslim community for its commitment to the economic, religious, educational and social endeavours of the country.
