Silver Star hosts tenants

Silver Star Towers (SST) has hosted its tenants and customers to an end-of-year cocktail party to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the facility.

Nine years down the line, Silver Star Tower has come to house over a dozen of the city's most successful businesses. 

In attendance were tenants, customers and other corporate partners who have over the years engaged in businesses with the Towers.

Speaking to newsmen, the Executive Director of the Silver Star Tower Limited, Mr Salah Kalmoni, explained that as owners and managers of the edifice, the company appreciated the role and support of its customers and tenants.

"We are marking nine years as the pioneers of Airport City in Accra. We thank our customers and tenants for making it possible," he said.

Corporate social responsibility

Mr Kalmoni indicated that as part of the anniversary, the company undertook several corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes to assist some communities in the country.

He mentioned a donation to the Ghana Health Services (GHS) towards its environmental cleaning project, an Ebola campaign at the Madina market undertaken with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Ghana, as well as donation to Net Impact Ghana Ltd, a youth entrepreneurial programme as some of the CSR’s embarked upon.

Among the company's executives present at the occasion were Messrs Christopher Nkulenu, Administrative and Accounts Manager, Paul Owusu-Afriyie, Facility Manager, Major Daniel Kodi (rtd), in-charge of Intelligence and Security and Raynold Owusu, Assistant Property Manager.
