Theodosia Okoh, designer of Ghana's national flag dies at 92

The Ghanaian stateswoman, who designed Ghana’s national flag, Theodosia Okoh, has died. She was 92.

A family source pleading anonymity confirmed the death to JOYNEWS Sunday evening.

It said the family will meet on Wednesday, April 22, to formally announce the death.

The late Madam Theodosia Okoh is the first female chairman of the Ghana hockey association as a result the Accra hockey pitch is currently named after her.

She is survived by three children.
