Asiedu Nketiah retains NDC General Secretary position

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has retained his position.

Mr Asiedu Nketiah polled 6644 votes to overwhelmingly beat Samuel Koku Sitsofo Anyidoho who obtained 1655 votes.

Total valid votes - 8299

Rejected votes - 7

Total votes cast - 8306

Already, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr Ade Coker commenting on the provisional results said Koku Anyidoho made a mistake in deciding to contest General Mosquito.

He said if Koku, who was the Deputy General Secretary had consulted him, he would have advised him against the move.
