Brogya not disqualified

The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Raymond Tandoh, has debunked the allegation that the Regional Youth Organiser of the party, Mr Brogya Genfi, has been disqualified as a parliamentary aspirant for the Suame Constituency.

This, he explained, was because the Kofi Adams Vetting committee that would assess aspirants in the Ashanti Region where a candidate could be recommended as being qualified or otherwise had not started its work; it would vet aspirants from September 29, 2015.

Mr Tandoh was reacting to media report that the regional secretary, who is vying for the Suame slot of the party, had been disqualified on grounds of forged signatures and his inability to pay the filing fee.
