EC to accredit media for election observation
The Electoral Commission has asked media houses interested in observing the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections to apply for accreditation from Monday, 31st October to Monday 7th of November 2016.

Applying media houses are to submit the names and details of their personnel by close of day Monday, 7th November, 2016, a statement issued Monday by the commission, and signed by the Head of Communications, Eric Kofi Dzakpasu directed.
It said any request submitted after the deadline of 7th November, 2016 will not be considered. Required details to be submitted per a format prescribed by the commission include

- NAME OF MEDIA HOUSE
“All requests for accreditation should be sent through the Regional representatives of the GJA to the Communications Unit of the Electoral Commission or by email at: mediaoffice@ec.gov.gh.Media Accreditation Application Format
“Accreditation tags will be given to only those who have formally applied for it and for a fee to be determined by the Commission.”
