Election 2024: Mahama leads by a wide margin in Greater Accra

John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken a commanding lead in the Greater Accra Region's presidential election results, securing 1,260,832 votes.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, received 681,535 votes.

According to the Electoral Commission’s (EC) Regional Director, Gladys Pinkrah, these figures represent results from 32 out of 34 constituencies that have been collated and validated.

However, the remaining two constituencies—Dome Kwabenya and Ablekuma North—are yet to be resolved due to disagreements.
