Empowering females in Central Region: The role of Richlove Amamoo

The Central Regional Director of the Department of Gender, Ms Richlove Amamoo, is making remarkable strides in empowering adolescent girls in the Central RegionShe entered the region as a director in 2020 and has worked diligently to impact many communities.
Ms Amamoo is able to speak to adolescents in a way that has endeared her to many of them and changed their paths consequently.
In an interview in Cape Coast on Thursday, she said her mission was to get adolescents informed on
the right choices they could take on their reproductive health for greater heights and brighter future.
To achieve this, Ms Amamoo has established Adolescent Girls Empowerment Clubs (AGEC) in several communities with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
