If Mahama won’t listen, Ghanaians will listen – Akufo-Addo
The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has criticised President John Mahama over the power crisis that has rocked the country.
Addressing thousands of demonstrators before the NPP’s “Wɔngbo" demonstration street procession took off in Accra Wednesday, Akufo-Addo criticised the President for what he said was his indifference to the problems facing Ghanaians.
Mahama says he won’t listen to anybody – we hear, but Ghanaians will listen, Akufo-Addo said as he urged his supporters to demonstrate peacefully.
Nobody should be violent, he said, warning that the police were on hand to arrest demonstrators who resorted to violence.
The NPP Flagbearer went on to urge Ghanaians to unite in an effort to ensure that President Mahama improves his performance.
