Madam Appiagyei versus Kofi Jumah: How will the Asokwa NPP pendulum tilt?
It is arguably the battle of equals at Asokwa when nearly 500 delegates gather at the Osei Kwaku Youth Centre at Ahinsan Estates today, Saturday, June 13, 2015, to elect one person to represent the party in the 2016 parliamentary election.
Madam Appiagyei
Madam Patricia Appiagyei, popularly referred to as Mama Pat, has pledged to maintain her position as the sitting Member of Parliament (MP).

However, Mr Maxwell Kofi Jumah, affectionately referred to as Kofi Ghana, has insisted that though he lost the seat to Madam Appiagyei, he had strategised, corrected the wrong and was battle-ready to unseat her this time.
Kofi Jumah was a two-time MP who was succeeded by the current MP, Madam Appiagyei.
Political watchers in the constituency believe that the incumbent has the upper hand of retaining the seat, judging from her demeanour and closeness with most of the constituency executive and constant interaction with the delegates.
