NDC suspends eight officials over acid attack threat

The Western regional Council of Elders of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended eight executives of the Evalue Gwira Ajomoro constituency for gross misconduct.

According to Accra-based Starr FM  , the affected officials include the constituency chairman, Charles Anokwasi (Charles Kwaw Agyei) aka Supper AA, deputy secretary, King Philip Henry Anikloe, communication director, Emmanuel Boamal, and deputy communications director, Daniel Armah.

Others are executive members, Samuel Ackah (Nana Arizy), Emmanuel Kwofie (Kofie Nzema) and Cosmos Macthy (Ekow Kapinta).

The executives, according to the report, had been quarrelling among themselves in the last few months.

Matters reportedly came to a head when the chairman filed a complaint at the police station, accusing some unnamed party of threatening to attack him with acid.
