President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Banjul, The Gambia for a two-nation visit.
The tour is to enable the President to, among other things, thank the Heads of State of The Gambia and Senegal, both West African states, for their participation in the Presidential inauguration ceremony in Accra on Tuesday, January 7, this year.
The visit is also in furtherance to President Mahama’s commitment to strengthening good relations with Ghana’s West African neighbours.
The President is expected to return home today from Dakar, Senegal.
