Ghanaian striker Kofi Nti Boakye has signed a three-year contract with Libyan side, Al Ahli , as a free agent.
But his club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, will have no share in the transfer proceeds.
The 26-year-old is likely to incur the wrath of Kotoko after he reportedly joined the Tripoli-based side as a free player, which he is not.
The former Liberty Professionals and Heart of Lions striker signed the deal after passing a club medicals last Tuesday.
Boakye will receive $900,000 with Kotoko getting absolutely nothing as he signed as a free agent despite having an existing deal with the reigning league champions which expires on August 10.
But he did not wait for his contract to run out before signin
