The first choice Black Stars goalkeeper, according to the report, will be given the nod ahead of Senzo Meyiwa for the first time in the South African top flight since joining the side at the beginning of the season.

Dauda came on in the second half in Pirates’ 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in their last Premiership game on Sunday.

The 28-year-old came on to replace first choice goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa, who was injured.

According to MTN Football, the former AshantiGold shot-stopper will finally get his chance to start for Pirates despite the injury return for Meyiwa.
