Frank Nelson charges Hearts supporters ahead of CAF Cup duel Sun

A director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson Nwokolo, has charged supporters of the club to rally behind the club on Sunday as they battle Olympic Ngor of Senegal in a first leg CAF Confederation Cup duel at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In a frantic move to restore the Phobian spirit, Nelson, one of the biggest shareholders of the club, told the Graphic Sports last Wednesday that the Phobians needed all true supporters of the club to storm the Accra Stadium to inspire the team to subdue their Senegalese opponents.

“If there is a time that true supporters need to demonstrate their genuine for the oak tree, then this is the time when the club is going through some difficult times.

“Besides, there is the need for the club to offset the huge financial cost involved in playing the Senegalese side

And an appreciable earnings from the gate will lessen the burden,” he stressed.

Already the Phobians need over $180,000 to play both legs against the Senegal representatives, and Nelson believes every Phobian is obliged  to contribute by paying to watch the game on Sunday.
