Liverpool, Arsenal in big clash

Liverpool's Ivorian international Kolo Toure will get a chance to redeem himself for his error in the 1-1- draw against West Brom recently, when The Reds clash with Toure's ex club Arsenal in the pick of the weekend's Barclays Premier League action today.

Arsenal know that a victory in this match today will give them confidence heading into a difficult month. The Gunners have tough fixtures in February which could go a long way into defining their season.  A win for Liverpool, on the other hand, will see them have a firm psychological grip on their UEFA Champions League aspirations.

Arsenal have won six and lost none of their last seven Premier League games and netted exactly two goals in each of the last five. The Gunners were the last team to stop Liverpool from scoring in the Premier League, with the Reds netting 41 goals in their 14 games since. There have been four 90th minute or later goals in the last five Premier League meetings between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield.

Luis Suarez reckons defeating Arsenal this weekend can give his Liverpool side a huge lift in their push for a top-four place. The club idol says victory in Saturday's huge game will be massive as the Reds try to clinch Champions League football for next season.
