West Ham offer Asamoah Gyan £100,000 a week loan deal

West Ham have reportedly offered striker Asamoah Gyan a deal worth £100,000 a week to help keep them up.

According to The Sun, Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants the Ghanaian, 28, on a six month loan from United Arab Emirates club Al Ain.

He is wanted as cover for the injured £19 million hitman Andy Carroll.

Ex-Sunderland forward Gyan scored 10 goals in 34 games in his two seasons on Wearside.

West Ham currently lie 17th in the Premier League.

Ghanasoccernet reports that Gyan has confirmed the offer from West Ham but says he is in no position to decide on whether he will be making a return to the English Premier League.

Gyan has been in blistering form since joining the UAE giants in 2011 from Sunderland.

He joined the Boss on an initial season’s-long loan deal worth an incredible £6m.

The Black Stars striker then made his move permanent after helping the side to the UAE top flight title while emerging the top goal scorer.
