The statement read:

“We’re delighted to announce that the Manchester United Foundation has endorsed our Nectar foundation charity project and has decided to partner us to make this project a success.

The nectar foundation project will provide relief to the children of Nectar foundation during these hard times.

Like we did last year for the Dzorwulu Special School, GhanaMUSC will this year in collaboration with the Manchester United foundation donate to the Nectar Foundation to help the foundation take care of the needs of the children during these difficult times.

“We have seen the realities that COVID-19 has brought upon our society and the economy as a whole. People are finding it difficult to get their daily bread and other essential items that they need in their daily lives. In such devastating times, collaborations are very important and we are happy to have Manchester United foundation joining us for this project and we also would like to call on other stakeholders to join the team. We are stronger together and we can surely make a change in the life of these children,” the Chairman, Samuel Anim Addo said.

Currently, GhanaMUSC has 1,512 members and is seeking to welcome more members after they were officially given recognition by the Manchester United Football Club.
All proceeds from the contributions of members and sympathisers will be directed to the nectar foundation cause scheduled for 26 September, 2020 at Nuaso,Odumase Krobo.
