Sophia wins GH¢25,000 in BETFOX ACCA Leaderboard Promotion

Sophia Wena from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region emerged as the ultimate winner of the BETFOX November ACCA Leaderboard Promotion, walking away with a grand prize of GH¢25,000.

BETFOX, a betting company licensed by Ghana’s Gaming Commission, has been operating in the country for four years.

In a bid to reward its loyal customers, the company launched the ACCA Leaderboard Promotion, which ran from 1st to 30th November 2024.

THE Black Stars Head Coach, Otto Addo, has demonstrated a personal touch in his management by visiting injured members of his squad in a bid to boost morale and offer his heartfelt support during their road to recovery.

The coach’s visit was part of efforts to rebuild the national team ahead of crucial fixtures. His first stop was in France where he met Alidu Seidu, the Stade Rennes defender, sidelined by a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee.

The hunt for Ghana's top female boxers kicks off in Accra this week, as the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) partners with the SM Boxing Foundation to stage a tournament aimed at selecting fighters for the national team, the Black Hitters.

Set to take place on Tuesday, December 24, at Akoto Lante Junction inside Bukom —Ghana’s heart of boxing—the event will see selected fighters form the core of the Black Hitters team.

They will then begin immediate preparations for the prestigious world championship in March 2025.
