Aduana overcome Olympics

Visiting Aduana Stars survived a late onslaught from Great Olympics to win 2-1 in their rescheduled Match day 11 Ghana Premier League (GPL) fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The match was rained off last Sunday. When it was replayed yesterday, a ninth-minute own goal by Olympics captain Dan Quaye and Bright Adjei’s 38th-minute drive secured the win for the visitors, as Abel Manomey’s goal from a powerful shot in the second half only gave Olympics a false sense of hope but could not save them from defeat.
