Over the weekend, the two sides recorded emphatic wins in their away matches. While Ampem Darkoa beat the once-fearful Ashtown Ladies 3-1 at the Prempeh College Park, Hasaacas  were 4-0 winners against debutants Samaria Ladies at the ATTC Park.

After surprisingly losing their opening game to Northern Ladies, Fabulous Ladies bounced back in dramatic fashion, beating new entrants Real Upper Ladies 6-0, while Northern Ladies lost 1-2 to Prisons Ladies at the Coronation Park.

Debutants Bafana Ladies gave a good account of themselves as they held Immigration Ladies to a 1-1 draw at the El-Wak Stadium in a match that attracted Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, the 2012 Presidential candidate of  the Progressive People's Party, who was at the stadium to support the young ladies from Elmina.

In other matches, Police Ladies were beaten 4-0 by LadyStrikers in Cape Coast, and Soccer Intellectuals were 2-0 winners over Halifax Ladies, while Golden Subayo Ladies were pipped 1-0 at home by visiting Lepo Ladies.
