Boakye Yiadom hopeful of recapturing goalscoring form

Black Stars striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom is hopeful of recapturing his rich goalscoring form which saw him net 15 goals in 14 matches for Red Star Belgrade last season.
Yiadom's goalscoring spree in the Serbian Superliga with Red Star saw score 39 goals in just over a year and earned him a lucrative transfer to Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning.
Since his move, Yiadom, 25, has found goals hard to come by, scoring only two goals in eight appearances.
However, the former Juventus starlet has revealed that he has been struggling with a niggling ankle injury and hopes to be back among the goals soon.

"By God's grace its (the ankle) getting well, everything is going as planned I will be leaving very soon to Italy to check it up to make sure that everything is Okay," Yiadom told Graphic Sports on Sunday at the sidelines of the Calcio Trade Ball (CTB) in Accra.
