Dede Ayew

Bundesliga sides target Ayew

Ghanaian international, Andre Ayew, is currently set for a switch from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille this summer, with German powerhouses Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg keen on signing the Olympique Marseille star.

It is now clear that the Ghanaian will be leaving the French side on a free transfer at the end of the season and he will have no shortage of offers in the coming weeks.

Ayew was initially believed to be nearing a move to the English Premiership, but has begun to consider the German Bundesliga as his next destination.

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be the top runners from the English Premier League interested in signing the 25-year-old.

According to French newspaper L’Équipe, Ayew’s representatives have received pre-contract offers from Wolfsburg and Dortmund, and the attacking midfielder plans to make a decision on his future by the end of the month, as he wants to fully focus on the title chase in French Ligue 1.

Ayew, who has scored eight goals in 25 matches this season, has reportedly received similar propositions from Everton and Newcastle United, but Liverpool appears to be the English side the Ghanaian is reportedly keen on joining.

However, Italian giants Napoli are reported to be in contact with Ayew’s legendary father, Abedi Pelé, who once played for Serie A side Torino, about a possible pre-contract deal for his son who is definitely leaving the Stade Velodrome at the end of the season.
